The question I’ve been asking myself since I bought it is: why didn’t I find this keyboard earlier?Įxcellent keyboard. With this keyboard, however, there is no chance of that happening it is very quiet. Also, when you leave the keyboard idle for a long period, it puts itself to sleep but it usually comes on immediately when you touch a key (with minimal lag time).If you type fast like I do, then there’s a chance that you usually disturb the people around you.

To make things better, it connects to the PC via Bluetooth, so there are no wires to make my desk untidy.The Bluetooth connection gave me one or two problems earlier on, but since I’ve learned how to connect it, it has been smooth sailing. I was excited when I found the Surface Keyboard-the keys feel so natural under my fingers and it has a smoothness to it that makes typing an enjoyable experience for me. And it is not for lack of trying, I have tried tons of keyboards but none passed the test. and until now, I have never found a keyboard that can handle my workload. I work all day on documents, presentations, spreadsheets, etc.

I cannot tolerate this product anymore.If anything is fixed in a future update, I will update this review. But these issues are insurmountable and unacceptable, especially considering the price. It is insanely frustrating.The feel of this keyboard is amazing, and I love the button press. Sometimes I can even manage to type out several words before it decides to turn back on. Same issues, none of which exist for the cheap one I bought. Hoping that would fix the problem, I reconnected the keyboard in lieu of the very cheap Bluetooth keyboard I bought as a replacement. I'm fairly certain that it is a software issue however, MS just released an update for Windows today. I bought a replacement Bluetooth adapter for my computer, tried all the fixes I read online, and spoke to MS support on 3 separate occasions about the issue. Buttons stick when it freezes sometimes, despite the fact that the buttons aren't physically stuck.I absolutely loved this keyboard. Sometimes it will freeze my computer for about 15 seconds before it decides to. Now it turns off after about 15 seconds and is extremely unreliable about when it turns back on. It had an annoying habit of disconnecting after a long period of disuse, but would reliably come back on when I clicked a button (despite the fact that I set it to not ever turn off in device manager).
